- CEE Registration Information
Advising holds are placed on all Civil & Environmental students’ registration each semester. To have the hold removed, follow these steps:
-
See your academic advisor every spring and fall semester.
-
Lists of advisors are posted in the CEE display case in the Civil & Environmental Engineering Hallway, COE Building A.
-
Advisor contact information is posted in the CEE display case; phone numbers and email addresses are also available online at https://eng.famu.fsu.edu/cee/people. Find out whether your advisor prefers Zoom or in-person advising and when they are available to meet. Faculty whose main office is in Sliger may elect to meet you there, or in Room A124 of the COE building.
-
- With your advisor, plan your schedule for next semester and complete an academic advising form.
-
Prepare a tentative class schedule before meeting with your advisor. Academic maps (curriculum flow charts) are posted in the CEE display case and available online at https://eng.famu.fsu.edu/cee/undergraduate/academic-maps.
-
Complete an advising form. Advising forms are available in the main Civil & Environmental Engineering Office (Room A129), from your academic advisor, and online at http://engfamufsu2.fsu.acsitefactory.com/cee/student/forms. Both you and your advisor must sign the advising form.
-
Course descriptions and prerequisites can be found in the undergraduate bulletins, Campus Solutions (iRattler) and Student Central (my.fsu.edu); https://eng.famu.fsu.edu/cee/undergraduate/courses shows prerequisites for CEE courses.
-
- Submit the completed advising form to the CEE Undergraduate Coordinator.
-
Forms can be submitted by email or in-person to the CEE main office (Room A129).
-
Upon satisfactory review, the Undergraduate Coordinator will remove your advising hold.
-
- When your registration window opens, you can register for classes.
-
Only students who have completed the above process will be permitted to register.
-
For information on registration windows for fall, spring, and summer classes, check your respective University website:
