Academic Learning Compacts and SACS Student Learning Outcomes

The FAMU-FSU College of Engineering has five academic departments offering 21 degree programs at the BS, MS and PhD levels. Each undergraduate degree program has also established a State of Florida mandated Academic Learning Compact (ALC). Academic Learning Compacts are a set of student learning outcomes (SLOs) which are anticipated to be obtained by each graduate of the degree program.

Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS)

Florida A&M University and Florida State University are both accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). As required by SACS, each degree program at the college has established a set of student learning outcomes and program outcomes.
