Original Research
Define Outcome: Upon completion of the master's degree, the student will be able to solve an original research problem in the field of electrical engineering.

Fundamental Knowledge
Define Outcome: Upon completion of the course of instruction, the student will be able to demonstrate fundamental knowledge in at least one broad area of Electrical Engineering disciplines (six major areas in department including communications, digital systems, electronics, electromagnetics, power systems, and controls)

Solve Electrical Engineering Problems
Define Outcome: Upon completion of the master's degree, the student will be able to solve an original research problem in the field of electrical engineering. (six major areas in department including communications, digital systems, electronics, electromagnetics, power systems, and controls)
