IME Ph.D. candidate takes second place in national poster competition

FAMU-FSU College of Engineering doctoral candidate Yourri Dessureault took second place honors in the overall poster competition at the National Space & Missile Materials Symposium (NSMMS) and the Commercial and Government Responsive Access to Space Technology Exchange (CRASTE) conference in June 2019.

Dessureault is a graduate student and researcher based in the college-associated High-Performance Materials Institute (HPMI). He is part of the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering (IME) department at the college.

FAMU-FSU Engineering mechanical, industrial and manufacturing students win top awards at ERN Conference

Two students from the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering placed first in the undergraduate and graduate technology categories at the recent Emerging Researchers National Conference (ERN) in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) event in Washington, D.C. 

Jasmine Gay, a mechanical engineering student won the undergraduate award and Sean Jackson an industrial and manufacturing engineering graduate researcher won the graduate award.
