Students from Florida State University and Ukraine recently joined forces to tackle an urgent global challenge: rebuilding cities devastated by natural disasters and war.

The five-day virtual hackathon brought together American and Ukrainian students to develop innovative solutions for reconstruction efforts.

College Part of International Health Equity and STEM Research Summit in Panama to Foster Global Collaborations

Florida State University’s Center of Population Sciences for Health Equity (CPSHE) recently hosted the International Health Equity and STEM Research Summit in the Republic of Panama to foster collaborations between researchers, educators and policymakers in Panama and the U.S.

The FAMU-FSU College of Engineering participated in the event to reinforce the engineering pipeline that prepares FSU Panama transfer students for upper-level coursework at the joint college stateside.

Three outstanding students from the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering have been awarded the prestigious Ted Rogers-Intuitive Scholars and Fellowship Program Award.

These Florida A&M University students are embarking on a journey fueled by a unique partnership between the college and the Intuitive Foundation. The program provides transformative opportunities for historically underrepresented and first-generation junior, senior, and graduate-level engineering students, including life-changing summer internships.
