The competitive funding will enable them to deliver Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) bootcamps for professionals at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center (KSC).
The November 2025 induction ceremony at the ASEMFL Annual Meeting will recognize these faculty members’ achievements across materials science, power electronics, plasma engineering and advanced manufacturing. All five inductees have also earned membership in the National Academy of Inventors (NAI), underscoring their impact on transformative research.
Austin Williams is a proud second-generation graduate of Florida A&M University. In 2023, he earned his bachelor’s degree in industrial and manufacturing engineering with the distinction of Magna Cum Laude at the joint FAMU-FSU College of Engineering. Now, as a doctoral student at Carnegie Mellon University, he is making strides in materials science that promise to impact lives globally.
