FAMU-FSU Engineering graduate students take 2nd place in 2021 AI Tracks at Sea Challenge
Engineering graduate students Ashwin Vadivel, Boluwatife Olabiran, Yu Zheng, and Muhammad Saud Ul Hassan from the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering took second place in the Artificial Intelligence Tracks at Sea Challenge competition, February 2021.
The event was hosted by the Department of Defense, Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific.

Engineering doctoral student Abiola Oloye is on the hunt for better superconducting materials
Abiola Temidayo Oloye is a doctoral student in materials science at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering. Originally from Lagos, Nigeria, she received her bachelor’s and first master’s degree from the Southwest State University in Kursk, Russia, in electronic engineering and telecommunications. She also holds a master’s in materials science.
