Researchers Improve Electric Vehicle Technology with New Power Train Innovation

Electric vehicles (EVs) are fast becoming mainstream and will impact everything from the quality of the air you breathe to the cost of owning a car. Some people are hesitant to embrace because of issues like cost and range but technology is about to get a lot better.

A new study led by faculty researchers, Jinyeong Moon, from the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering and Woongkul Lee, from Michigan State University will improve the electric drive system for EVs. The researchers are working with grants from the Department of Energy and General Motors to develop the new technology.

Engineering Student Devin Nobles Crowned Mister FAMU

Devin Nobles was crowned Mister Florida A&M University 2023 at the annual coronation held at FAMU’s Lee Hall auditorium.

Coronation has been a FAMU tradition for more than 31 years. Miss and Mister Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University are university ambassadors and positive representatives with Class Attendants and Royal Escorts. Students in the FAMU Royal Court foster school pride and unity and serve as ambassadors for the university.
