FAMU-FSU engineering professors Christian Hubicki and Tarik Dickens were recently honored at the 2019 National Academy of Engineering (NAE), “Frontiers of Engineering” (FOE) symposium held in South Carolina, in September 2019.

The FAMU-FSU College of Engineering’s annual Green & Gold 2019 Tailgate party was a big success this year with more than 400 people in attendance. This is the second year of the festive event that celebrates the partnership between the two universities.

FAMU-FSU College of Engineering Assistant Professor Kourosh Shoele has spent the early stages of his career going with the flow.

That is, in the eight years since receiving his doctorate from the University of California San Diego, he’s conducted extensive research on the interactions between fluid and solid structures — or flow interactions — in applications ranging from health care to renewable energy to biomechanics.
