FAMU-FSU Engineering vaults to Top 40 ranking nationwide
In the 2021 Best College rankings, FAMU-FSU Engineering moved up to Top 40 public schools nationwide and Top 2 schools in Florida


Florida State University researchers received a record level of funding in the 2020 fiscal year, bringing in $250.1 million in grants from federal, state and private sources.
The quarter-billion milestone in research funding is more than $16 million higher than the previous record, which FSU posted in fiscal year 2019.
Five FAMU-FSU College of Engineering students received the esteemed Graduate Research Fellowship (GRF) from the National Science Foundation (NSF). The NSF-GRF program recognizes and supports exceptional graduate students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines who are pursuing research-based masters and doctoral degrees.
Vanderbilt University Interim Chancellor and Provost Susan R. Wente recently announced the appointment of William H. Robinson as Vanderbilt’s vice provost for academic advancement and executive director of the Provost’s Office for Inclusive Excellence.

Something that most people don’t know is the Bahamas are also the home of some very successful engineers and they are graduates of the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering.
