Natalija Nikolic has earned Florida State University’s coveted honors medallion, completing rigorous research requirements to graduate with Honors in the Major in Civil Engineering this December.
The Sarasota native demonstrated exceptional academic achievement by completing an original honors thesis, pushing the boundaries of undergraduate research in civil engineering while maintaining excellence in her coursework.
“The Honors in the Major distinction represents the highest level of undergraduate academic achievement within our engineering programs,” said D. Craig Filar, associate dean of Honors, Scholars, and Fellows at FSU.

The honors medallion, awarded during a formal ceremony at the FSU University Alumni Center, recognizes Nikolic’s commitment to advancing engineering knowledge through intensive research and academic excellence.
