Pre-engineering Advisors

These are the academic advisors for undergraduates at Florida A&M and Florida State for engineering majors during the pre-engineering phase (until pre-requisites are met). Once a student moves out of pre-engineering, they are assigned an academic advisor in their engineering major/department (see below).

Drop-in advising is available, but priority will be given to students with appointments. Students seeking drop-in advising are encouraged to email in advance to assure that an appointment will not conflict with the time they plan on arriving.

Hello my name is Hope Carrasquilla, and I am one of the FSU Pre-Engineering advisors. As a Florida State alum, I am thrilled to be part of a team of people working together to help you, our future engineers, to succeed as a geese (Once you are here on the engineering campus you will understand that not only are you a Nole, but you are also considered a geese). My goal is to help you transition from pre-engineering to engineering with the least amount of bumps along the way. So, whether you have a question about your current or future classes, internships, tutoring, study abroad, etc., I am here to help.
