FCRAR – Florida Conference for Recent Advances in Robotics – is an academic conference in the field of robotics that is held every year since 1988 at a different university in Florida. In 2024, FCRAR will be held at FAMU-FSU College of Engineering in Tallahassee.

MagLab Open House will be on Saturday, February 24, 2024. Join us for FREE hands-on science fun for visitors of all ages! The College of Engineering will be tabling and have research labs open to tour (AME, CAPS, HPMI, RIDER).

Neil deGrasse Tyson was born and raised in New York City where he was educated in the public schools clear through his graduation from the Bronx High School of Science. Tyson went on to earn his BA in Physics from Harvard and his PhD in Astrophysics from Columbia. In 2001, Tyson was appointed by President Bush to serve on a twelve-member commission that studied the Future of the U.S.
