Abstract: Understanding the fatigue behavior and accurately predicting the fatigue life of laser powder bed fusion (L-PBF) parts remain a pressing challenge due to complex failure mechanisms, time-consuming tests, and limited fatigue data.

The Rural Safe Efficient and Advanced Transportation (R-SEAT) Center Annual UTC Conference will be held on April 16 & 17, 2026 from 8AM to 3PM at the Interdisciplinary Research and Commercialization Building adjacent to the FAMU & FSU College of Engineering in Tallahassee, Florida.
The UTC Conference will convene leaders from diverse sectors, including academia, state transportation agencies, and both public and private transportation advocates.
