Cynthia Blair is the executive oversight at TMH for Organizational Improvement and Planning. Areas include Performance Improvement, Physician Practice Strategic Planning and Profiling, Executive Decision Support, Infection Control, Regulatory Compliance, IRB, and Peer Review functions. Ms. Blair has accumulated more than 20 years of experience in hospitals and the health care industry. With strong clinical experience including critical care, emergency care management, ambulatory care management and nursing supervision. Prior to TMH, Ms. Blair worked at Solucient, LLC for 5 years where she assisted clients and potential clients to realize the value proposition involved in the use of Clinical comparative data and benchmarking. Her primary focus has been to educate existing users about better uses as well as integration of the databases and the data contents to achieve meaningful change in their organizations. Prior to joining Solucient, Ms. Blair was the administrator for performance improvement at a hospital in South Florida. The program has been recognized nationally for its high level of physician leadership and participation. With a successful track record of teaching performance improvement (PI) concepts and facilitating effective PI activities, Ms. Blair has experience working at all levels of a facility, both staff and management alike. Ms. Blair has long been committed to the concept that PI can only be accomplished with quality data available to aid PI efforts.
