David C. Gross brings expertise in model-based systems and digital engineering, modeling and simulation, system architecture, human-computer interfaces—particularly virtual environments—and process engineering. He has led technical innovations exceeding $1 billion in value and influenced over $3 billion in business opportunities. His distinguished career includes leadership roles at Boeing and Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, where he served as Chief Technologist for M&S and Deputy Chief Engineer for simulation and systems integration labs, respectively. Dr. Gross holds over sixty publications, two patents, and advanced degrees in computer science, operations research, and systems and industrial engineering. His contributions span government, academia, and industry, including service as a NASA Faculty Fellow and his current faculty role at Florida State University.
