Gulf Scholars Presents: Building Effective Community Impact

Come learn about collaborative community project development and its importance.
This is a Gulf Scholars Program three-part series on Building Effective Community Impact that highlights interdisciplinary community-engagement and relationship building.
Throughout this series, you will learn about community entry, Asset Based Community Development (ABCD), grant and proposal writing with community groups, as well as population insights and needs assessments.
This series is taught by Maria-Paula McIntyre from the FSU Center for Leadership and Service. Maria-Paula McIntyre has expertise in community engagement and building relationships that support developing community-led initiatives. During her eight years at the FSU Center for Leadership & Service, she has been dedicated to many programs, starting with youth mentoring and currently partnering with non-profit organizations across Tallahassee.
Students, Faculty and Staff from both FAMU and FSU main campus will be in attendance so come to learn and network with your like-minded peers!
