Speaker Bio: Dr. Prashant K. Sarswat is a Research Associate Professor at the University of Utah, where he leads the Materials Synthesis, Testing, and Analysis Facility, specializing in cutting-edge metal manufacturing technologies. A recognized CMMI National Science Foundation Panel Fellow, Dr. Sarswat also serves as the Team Leader for the Technology Innovation Center under the Department of Energy’s (DOE) CORE-CM program. He is the Co-founder of AIandLearn, a platform focused on developing intuitive and user-friendly graphical interfaces to simplify machine learning and artificial intelligence applications. His groundbreaking research has received global recognition, with features on prominent platforms including the KSL, Discovery Channel, Fox, BBC, AIP Inside Story, and The Economist. His expertise has driven numerous high-impact projects funded by esteemed organizations such as the Department of Energy, the REMADE Institute, DARPA, NAVAIR, and the University Research Foundation. Dr. Sarswat has contributed over 110 publications to materials science and technology innovation. Beyond his research, he plays a pivotal editorial role for leading academic journals, including Scientific Reports, Frontiers, Processes, and the Transactions of the Nonferrous Society of China, among others.
