FSU professor Sir Harry Kroto, who shared the 1996 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for discovering a new arrangement of carbon known as the buckyball, died on April 30, 2016 as a result of ALS. Join us as we raise money in memory of Harry, who was a friend to many of us and strived to inspire young people. To donate directly to the ALS Association visit: http://web.alsa.org/goto/2025_Kroto_IBC .

We are conducting the Ice Bucket Challenge in memory of Sir Harry Kroto, long-time friend of many others at FSU and throughout the world.
