This week’s Data-Enabled Computational Engineering and Applied Quantum Computing workshop is about Uncertainty Quantification and will be presented by Professor W. Oates, the Cummins Professor at FAMU-FSU Joint College of Engineering, who studies smart materials and adaptive structures using Bayesian methods for modeling and analysis.
Uncertainty Quantification (UQ) is a powerful method and required technique in most engineering designs and is commonly used in all branches of engineering to enhance the reliability and reproducibility of simulations. In this workshop, you will have an exceptional opportunity to learn the practical aspects of the method and how to use the method in your research.
Don’t forget to bring your laptop!
