Construction is beginning to take place on campus and in order to keep everyone informed updates will be posted.

Engineering Way Closure Begins Week of September 14 — Building C Construction
Beginning the week of September 14, 2026, the section of Engineering Way running behind the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering, along the wooded lot, will close for Building C construction. This closure is permanent.
What’s changing:
- The road section behind the college (along the wooded lot) will be closed to all traffic
- The gravel parking lot and the parking adjacent to the right side of Building A will close permanently
- Affected parking will move to adjacent lots in Innovation Park
Deliveries and loading dock access:
College of Engineering staff will still have full access to the loading dock area through the adjacent construction gate. This gate has been sized to allow tractor-trailers room to maneuver for deliveries.
