Construction is beginning to take place on campus and in order to keep everyone informed updates will be posted. For the most up-to-date information please read below:
September 4, 2026 update:
Beginning September 14, 2026, a section of Engineering Way located north of FAMU-FSU College of Engineering, along the wooded lot, will close for Building C construction. This closure will be for the duration of construction.
What’s changing:
- Engineering Way into parking on north and east side of buildings will be closed
- A section of parking adjacent to College of Engineering Building A will close for construction
- Alternative parking is available in adjacent lots within Innovation Park
Deliveries and loading dock access:
College of Engineering staff will still have full access to the loading dock area through the adjacent construction gate. This gate has been sized to allow tractor-trailers room to maneuver for deliveries.
Transportation Re-Routing:
Starting September 14, 2026, the Innovation Route will be detoured due to construction at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering. The existing bus stop at the College of Engineering will not be impacted & major delays are not anticipated.
