Engineering alumnus promoted to Orlando vice president of electric and water distribution

LeMoyne Adams, a 1990 graduate of Florida A&M University (FAMU), has been promoted to Vice President of Electric & Water Distribution for the OUC – The Reliable One, effective April 16.

In his new role, Adams will be responsible for overseeing the planning, engineering, construction, operations and maintenance, technology transfer and administration of OUC's electrical distribution system and potable water distribution system, including the electric and water meter shops. He began his OUC career in 1993 as an Electrical Engineer and progressed to Senior Electrical Engineer in 1999. Adams was promoted to Manager of Customer Service Engineering in 2002 and then named Director of Distribution Engineering, a position he has held since 2005.
 
Adams earned a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from FAMU through the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering.
