Opportunities for Undergraduates

Undergraduate students in the Department of Mechanical have a unique opportunity to participate in cutting-edge research. The department has several state-of the-art research laboratories in aero-propulsion, materials science, robotics and sustainable energy. The College of Engineering is also in close proximity to several major research centers including National High Magnetic Field LaboratoryCenter for Advanced Power Systems and the Florida Center for Advanced Aero-Propulsion. Students interested in research opportunities should contact individual faculty members directly. To have volunteer undergraduate experience acknowledged on your university transcript, see Undergraduate Research.
